Dr. Carla Engel Ludwig

Operations and Marketing

I am excited to share what I have learned as a visionary and efficiency expert in the non-profit sector with the staff at Life-Centered Dentistry.

I currently work full-time as the Founding director of Hope for Single Moms, a non-profit dedicated to removing the barriers single moms have to getting a career education and giving the tools they need to becoming financially self-sufficient. We invite the community to join us so that no single mom walks the student parent journey alone.

My other full-time job is visiting our six adult children who live outside of Michigan. We also have four of the best kids-in-law in the world and ten grandchildren.

Dr. Eryn Huber

Dr. Eryn Huber is from Detroit, MI and has been in the dental field since 2007 practicing as a dental hygienist prior to attending dental school. She was a dentist in the Detroit area in private practice for the past 7 years. She recently relocated to to the Grand Rapids area with her family. She is a graduate from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She received the “Top Dentist” award for Oakland County in 2019 and has been elected to Hour Detroit Magazine’s Top Dentists for the last 6 consecutive years. In addition to general dentistry, Dr Huber places dental implants and is also certified in Invisalign. She currently has a seat on University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry’s Alumni Board. Dr. Huber chose general dentistry for the opportunity to help build relationships with her patients and their families. She believes that overall health and oral health go hand in hand. A healthy body starts in the oral cavity. Dentists can be the first health care provider to detect oral cancer, diabetes, and heart problems before the patient is aware that there is a problem. She is a strong believer in oral cancer screenings and catching dental problems early. In her spare time you will find her camping, hiking, cycling and practicing yoga. She enjoys collecting vinyl records, attending concerts and traveling. She lives the in Grand Rapids area with her husband, Alex, daughter, Arlo and dog, Maddie.

I have worked with Dr. Ludwig for over 38 years! I began as his chairside assistant, and now have worked in the front office for many years!  My clinical experience comes in handy as I help people with their dental questions and concerns. I truly enjoy greeting patients with a smile, chatting, and getting to know them.   

On a personal note, I have been happily married to my wonderful husband, Doug, for 35 years! Our three children are married and all  live in the Grand Rapids area. We have two precious grandchildren that bring us so much joy!  We keep busy with family activities, walking, biking, camping, and are very involved in our church and small group Bible study.  I have so much to be thankful for!
