With the ongoing government shutdown, many families who rely on public assistance are suddenly facing impossible choices — between groceries and gas, bills and basic needs. Food insecurity is rising right here in West Michigan. And this year, more of our neighbors are wondering how they’ll put dinner on the table.
That’s why we’re partnering with Northwest Food Pantry to host a Thanksgiving Food Drive — to help ensure every local family experiences the warmth, nourishment, and connection that make this season special.
Partnering with Northwest Food Pantry
Located right here on Grand Rapids’ West Side, Northwest Food Pantry supports more than 300 residents every month, providing both food and personal-care essentials. For many, it’s more than a pantry — it’s a lifeline.
By joining our food drive, you’re helping fill not just shelves but hearts. You’re helping parents breathe easier, knowing their children will enjoy a real holiday meal. You’re reminding your neighbors that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
