Caring for your total well-being–body, soul and spirit– is what Life-Centered Dentistry is about.
Your health and safety have been important to us for over 38 years.
We have always exceeded OSHA standards and the CDC, American Dental Association and Michigan Dental Association guidelines. Now, considering Covid, we have raised our safety measures to an even higher level.
We have added three patient care rooms for a total of eight rooms. Each room has its own ultra-HEPA air filter, which cleans the air in the entire room every ten minutes. We have added UV-C light sterilization units, as well. Eight rooms will allow you to go directly into your treatment room after your Covid screening upon your arrival at Life-Centered Dentistry. Your patient care room will remain empty for one hour prior to your appointment.
Our reception room and office area are new, too. These areas have large ultra-HEPA filter units. Plexiglas sneeze guards help protect everyone at our check-in and check-out areas.
You may be called two days before your appointment and asked the Covid screening questions. These include whether you or someone you have been with has tested Covid positive, if you’ve recently been to a Covid hotspot and if you are experiencing any Covid symptoms.
Upon your arrival, please park and enter the building on the east side, next to Charley’s Party store, not the entrance by Sandy’s Donuts. We are excited to be able to provide a ramp for ADA accessibility. If you do not require handicapped parking, please park a little further back.
Your first appointment back will look a little different. When you reach the door to the reception room, someone will greet you or wave you in. Please have a seat until someone is available to screen you. Keep social distancing in mind.
Please wear a mask. If you are not wearing a mask, one will be given to you. Please discard any gloves you are wearing.
Your temperature will be taken with a touch-less thermometer. If it is 100.4 or above, we will ask you to reschedule.
We have hand sanitizer that we ask you to use upon your arrival. Then, you will be escorted to your patient care room. Once there, you may remove your mask and use a pre-rinse mouthwash before any treatment begins.
At this time, we are requesting that only the scheduled patient come to the appointment. If necessary, a maximum of one additional person may be in the patient care room. They will be required to wear a mask and a shield. If you need to reschedule to get a babysitter, we understand and appreciate that.
Proper treatment on time is the best, most comfortable, most convenient, and most economical care possible. Waiting until you have pain or a broken tooth results in a greater cost to you. The entire Life-Centered Dentistry team is looking forward to providing our best care for you again!
